Matt Richards
After a very impressive junior career, Matt burst onto the senior stage at only 18 years old when he was crowned Olympic Champion in Tokyo on the 4x200 Freestyle relay. After a faultless introduction to the international stage, Matt backed up these performances by becoming an individual World Champion in the 200 Freestyle in 2023. At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Matt once again was crowned Olympic Champion in the 4x200 Freestyle and followed up with a Silver medal in the individual 200 Freestyle. Matt cannot wait to share his tips to perfecting the dive.

The backstroke specialist progressed through his junior career breaking a World Junior Record at the age of 17. After a few challenging years, Luke has transitioned into one of the fastest backstroke swimmers in the world with many achievements to his name. Start Station
Based in the pool, swimmers will work with both Matt and Luke as they teach you the skills and drills that they practice regularly to perfect their starts which has helped them become some of the best swimmers in the world. Matt is one of the most versatile freestyle swimmers in the world, being the only person in history to swim under 22.00, 48.00 and 1:45.00 in the freestyle events and his start contributes to his versatility. Luke is known for having world class skills and this is something that he has worked on for over a decade and helped him break a World Junior Record earlier in his career, you will be learning exactly how Luke developed such a strong backstroke start.
Land Station
Throughout the land station, you will have 2 world-class practitioners focusing on some very important areas that contribute massively to your starts: flexibility, strength, power and movement patterns. During the station you will go through key exercises and movements to ensure your flexibility provides optimum power exertion, while learning vital plyometric, power based exercises to accelerate you off the blocks.
